Spectators: 7552 (Terracing: 5665, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Porvir's Josué Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Pontes in the 9th minute of play. Josué Quadros came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Argenita FC's Chicão de Souza. But to his dismay, Chicão de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Bruno Valladares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Mattos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Argenita FC's Ronaldinho Neiva got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Porvir's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão de Souza came free, but Josué Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Chicão de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Mattos made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bruno Valladares sent off a good shot on target. William Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Chicão de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Quadros was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, Porvir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Chicão de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

52 minutes into the match, Eurico Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Mattos. Argenita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bruno Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Alfredo Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Neiva during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Argenita FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ronaldinho Neiva hit a great ball. Josué Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão de Souza in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Pontes in the 73rd minute of play forced Porvir's goalkeeper Josué Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Macedo in the 74th minute of play forced Argenita FC's goalkeeper Diego Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Alfredo Tasso in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porvir's Bruno Valladares. Diego Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Macedo in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Porvir booed when Argenita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Argenita FC's Alfredo Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eurico Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvir's protests and gave Eurico Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. Eurico Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Porvir got a freekick which was hit by Pedro da Rocha. Argenita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
