When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dionisio Sotero took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Betão Mazza to make any attempt to save it. When Davi Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 50 Tons de Idade's protests and gave Davi Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Davi Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruninho de Almeida's late challenge caught a F.C Águias de Ouro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruninho de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Knut Västerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Mazza having to interfere. After 16 played minutes F.C Águias de Ouro got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Guerra. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Pereira in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Edip Nazmi saved F.C Águias de Ouro from getting behind. Dionisio Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Mazza having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Knut Västerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C Águias de Ouro's Knut Västerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruninho de Almeida hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Västerberg in the 30th minute of play forced 50 Tons de Idade's goalkeeper Betão Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Sotero might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Sotero ran back to his position shaking his head. Betão Mazza made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Turkka Jatkola sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute F.C Águias de Ouro were awarded a corner. Ota Rio went to the cornerflag to take it. If Rikardt Weybøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armandinho Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Edip Nazmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Vidal in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes, Dionisio Sotero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Águias de Ouro and the 50 Tons de Idade players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 50 Tons de Idade booed when F.C Águias de Ouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Knut Västerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betão Mazza. 50 Tons de Idade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Betão Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Västerberg in the 59th minute of play. Dionisio Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Betão Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Knut Västerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Águias de Ouro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rikardt Weybøl took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Mazza. Betão Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dionisio Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Águias de Ouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Sotero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, Knut Västerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Betão Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to 50 Tons de Idade getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Adelino Alvarenga hit a great ball. Ota Rio, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. F.C Águias de Ouro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
