Knut Västerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes of play, F.C Águias de Ouro's Knut Västerberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Orguntay in the 12th minute of the match. If Yıldırım Orguntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraja's goalkeeper Filipe Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Maraja's zone, Knut Västerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Netto came out of the goal and Knut Västerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of F.C Águias de Ouro booed when Maraja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Turkka Jatkola managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Águias de Ouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Turkka Jatkola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th match minute, Maraja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Turkka Jatkola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Filipe Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maraja's Wilson Coelho got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Turkka Jatkola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Maraja defense, Yıldırım Orguntay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Netto. The Maraja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Netto should have stopped the shot. Filipe Netto came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Águias de Ouro's Teodor Spineanu. But to his dismay, Teodor Spineanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 45th match minute, Maraja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Coelho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony de Salles made a kick off. Knut Västerberg took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Netto. Filipe Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Maraja's zone, Yıldırım Orguntay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Netto came out of the goal and Yıldırım Orguntay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Turkka Jatkola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Filipe Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yıldırım Orguntay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Edip Nazmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Palmeira in the 88th minute of the match. Yıldırım Orguntay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Filipe Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Netto stood somewhat misplaced when Turkka Jatkola came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 93 minute.
