Dedê Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Serginho Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Dedê Cosme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taborda FC and the S.C.Clavico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Taborda FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Cosme. If Jeferson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Wilian Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Jeferson Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
