Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís de Moraes started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wilson Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pass the Joint S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Pass the Joint S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel de Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Dedê Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renatinho Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Flávio Almeida hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Erasmo Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renatinho Schmidt. Pass the Joint S.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Pass the Joint S.C defense, Luís de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renatinho Schmidt. The Pass the Joint S.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renatinho Schmidt should have stopped the shot. Luís de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Matos in the 25th minute of play. Wilson Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Moreira having to interfere. If Dedê Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Luís de Moraes put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Renatinho Schmidt. Rubens Matos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elder Moreira came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubens Matos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 39th minute. Sidney Zonta hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elder Moreira made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Wilson Santos sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Wilson Santos made a precise shot to the right of Elder Moreira. Taborda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 48 minutes into the match, Taborda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Matos came free, but Elder Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubens Matos to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Sidney Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taborda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pass the Joint S.C the free kick. A collision led to Taborda FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sidney Zonta hit a great ball. Benjamin Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Taborda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Rubens Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Renatinho Schmidt made a huge save. Taborda FC's Gilberto Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Pass the Joint S.C's Wilson Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elder Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Matos in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Taborda FC's zone, Wilson Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Moreira came out of the goal and Wilson Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dedê Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Renatinho Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taborda FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
