But to his dismay, William Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato da Costa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rap é o Som's Renato da Costa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Bruno Brasil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubens Travassos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute CRF Russe were awarded a corner. Ramón Reis went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronaldinho Custódio tried in the game's 34th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Rubens Travassos. After having played for 39 minutes, William Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRF Russe's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, CRF Russe's Bruno Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubens Travassos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 44 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goalkeeper Rubens Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Brito. After 47 minutes, Simão Sergipano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRF Russe and the Rap é o Som players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simão Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Sergipano in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, William Cordeiro put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rubens Travassos. Rubens Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ramón Reis notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Rap é o Som's Rubens Travassos. Rubens Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Simão Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRF Russe's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Travassos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Rap é o Som defense, Acácio Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubens Travassos. The Rap é o Som fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubens Travassos should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Rap é o Som's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Brito came free, but Rubens Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Simão Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRF Russe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CRF Russe had played much better football throughout.
