In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.Clavico's goalkeeper Serginho Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, William Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Ramos. S.C.Clavico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Serginho Ramos came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by CRF Russe's William Cordeiro. But to his dismay, William Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. William Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Serginho Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRF Russe. Acácio Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Breno Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.Clavico's protests and gave Breno Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CRF Russe booed when S.C.Clavico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.C.Clavico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Baltazar Ramalho scored to the left of an out of position Serginho Ramos, making the score, 3-0. In the 24th minute, S.C.Clavico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simão Sergipano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 26th minute, William Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRF Russe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Baltazar Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Despite this Serginho Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Serginho Ramos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. William Cordeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serginho Ramos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Will Calhoun in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serginho Ramos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th match minute, S.C.Clavico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match CRF Russe got a corner. S.C.Clavico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramón Reis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on CRF Russe's corner Ramón Reis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serginho Ramos quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Rafinha Romero made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Jeferson Paes sent off a good shot on target. In the 58thth minute of the game Acácio Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.Clavico's Serginho Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, William Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. William Cordeiro scored 7-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serginho Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Sergipano went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. S.C.Clavico's Serginho Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Calhoun in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Paes got free with Rafinha Romero in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CRF Russe's Ramón Reis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. S.C.Clavico's Serginho Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Ramalho in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.C.Clavico's zone, Acácio Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Ramos came out of the goal and Acácio Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, William Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRF Russe's supporters rose to their feet, but William Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
