An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Rubens Matos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Elder de Toledo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Renatinho Schmidt. Elder de Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Schmidt having to make a save. Elder de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Schmidt having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Rubens Meira made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho Schmidt. Pass the Joint S.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fernandão Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubens Matos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. If Rubens Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Celsinho Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pass the Joint S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renatinho Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celsinho Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pass the Joint S.C booed when Foxman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder de Toledo in the 42nd minute of play forced Pass the Joint S.C's goalkeeper Renatinho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Santos in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Foxman FC's Rubens Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renatinho Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubens Meira made a kick off. Fernandão Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Santos in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Rubens Matos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Foxman FC's Fernandão Vargas. Fernandão Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celsinho Donato got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bernardo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rubens Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandão Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubens Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Foxman FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bernardo Maia hit a great ball. After 66 minutes, Rubens Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pass the Joint S.C and the Foxman FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pass the Joint S.C's Rubens Matos got a free kick in the 66th minute. Fernandão Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Elder de Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renatinho Schmidt having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Elder de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Foxman FC's Rubens Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubens Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Schmidt having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Foxman FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
