Germano Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Ferraz in the 3rd minute of play. Edmundo Linares was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Defensores de Savóia got a freekick which was hit by Guto Duarte. 21 minutes into the match, ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Romeu Pernambucano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Durval Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Rocha having to interfere. Ulisses Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Germano Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Maia to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulisses Ferraz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renato Rocha made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Durval Antunes sent off a good shot on target. After 41 played minutes ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Maia. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Durval Antunes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Antunes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Savóia's zone, Romeu Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Rocha came out of the goal and Romeu Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Durval Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmyr Ferreira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 60th playminute. Germano Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Ferraz in the 67th minute of the match. Romeu Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Rocha having to interfere. Gerson Azevedo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Durval Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Romeu Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeu Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Durval Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marco Mandrak hit a great ball. Ulisses Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Germano Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Savóia. Ulisses Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germano Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Renato Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Antunes's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Durval Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Renato Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 96 played minutes ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Paraense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Defensores de Savóia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
