Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Revolucionários F.C's Sidney Prado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Lago in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu do Valle saved Revolucionários F.C from getting behind. Breno Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu do Valle having to interfere. Lauro Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidney Prado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Revolucionários F.C's zone, Alan Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu do Valle came out of the goal and Alan Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauro Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Paulo Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revolucionários F.C and the Esporte Clube Comercial players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeu do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Lago's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes, Alan Lago made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Revolucionários F.C's Amadeu do Valle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th match minute, Revolucionários F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Félix scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Aristides Arixo put in a rough tackle. 34 minutes into the game, one of Esporte Clube Comercial:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Clube Comercial's zone, Sidney Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Sena came out of the goal and Sidney Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Gustavo de Azevedo made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Romário Linhares. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Comercial's Breno Vianna got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio Félix to make the kick off. Paulo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Revolucionários F.C's Genílson Quirino got a free kick in the 58th minute. 2-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Sidney Prado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 68 minutes in the game Luís Gustavo de Azevedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Osvaldo Lara. The supporters of Esporte Clube Comercial booed when Revolucionários F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Maurinho Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lauro Sena. Esporte Clube Comercial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 82 minutes into the match, Sidney Prado notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Esporte Clube Comercial's Lauro Sena. Lauro Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Richard Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eurico do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Revolucionários F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
