After 16 played minutes, Parelheiros FC's Guilherme Arana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelo Bittencourt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parelheiros FC reached it. Angelo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Messias in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Oswaldo Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Parelheiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Bastos came free, but Andres Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Notria F.C. booed when Parelheiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Arana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Monteiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Parelheiros FC's goalkeeper Andres Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Messias struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Angelo Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parelheiros FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Monteiro got free with Andres Aureo in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Bastos in the 79th minute of play. Felippe Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Andres Aureo made a huge save. Felippe Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Aureo having to interfere.
