Spectators: 6450 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dráuzio Cardozo started the match with the kick off. Naldo Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Toninho Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Cardozo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Braga saved Bacururu EC from getting behind. In the 14th match minute, Notria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Souto to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bittencourt having to interfere. Waldir Travassos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. César Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Notria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Bacururu EC's Waldir Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Toninho Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacururu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acácio Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Bacururu EC's goalkeeper César Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel Ramalho. César Braga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dráuzio Cardozo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toninho Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. If Naldo Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Lira in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Braga was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Notria F.C.'s Manoel Ramalho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manoel Ramalho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Notria F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manoel Ramalho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Notria F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Angelo Bittencourt had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Vítor Silva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Toninho Paraíba took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Angelo Bittencourt to make any attempt to save it. Angelo Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Paraíba in the 74th minute of the match. Angelo Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rodolfo Mazza sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacururu EC's Romário Lira. But to his dismay, Romário Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Bacururu EC's Jean Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 88th minute. Naldo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bittencourt having to interfere. Bacururu EC played a much better game than Notria F.C. and deserved their victory. The Notria F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
