In the 20th minute, Amostradinhos FC's Faustão de Mendonça seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Faustão de Mendonça the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amostradinhos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Faustão de Mendonça had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st match minute, Amostradinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes São Cristóvão F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Nunes. After a rather tough play, Amostradinhos FC's Conrado Félix got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in São Cristóvão F.C's zone, Téo Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Matorin came out of the goal and Téo Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Samuel Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. João Vítor Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, São Cristóvão F.C's Samuel Urbano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marco Cordeiro made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Téo Cavalcante. Reinaldo Fantini's late challenge caught a São Cristóvão F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Amostradinhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Fantini. Erivaldo Baiano made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Frank Vaz however managed to control. 76 minutes into the game, Reginaldo da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amostradinhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Cristóvão F.C the free kick. 86 minutes into the game, Reginaldo da Rocha threw the ball into play from the sideline. São Cristóvão F.C's Jonathan Pimenta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Félix during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Conrado Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Téo Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amostradinhos FC's protests and gave Téo Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of São Cristóvão F.C booed when Amostradinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. São Cristóvão F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
