After a rather tough play, CR Alanzinho's Aílton Paraibano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bebeto Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Baptista in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséias Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Aílton Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oséias Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldinho Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 86th minute, Noel de Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CR Alanzinho's Oséias Secco didn't even have to move. The supporters of Golden State Warriors booed when CR Alanzinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
