Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Nazareno EC's attentive Luan de Lima managed to snatch the ball when Paulo Renato Neto made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Nazareno EC's Eduardo Capixaba got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tiaguinho Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Felipe Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazareno EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tiaguinho Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval da Costa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiaguinho Sena. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Malagutti Soccêr's Alfredinho Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Malagutti Soccêr's Paulo Renato Neto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bebeto Valladares's late challenge caught a Malagutti Soccêr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bebeto Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Nazareno EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Tiaguinho Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bernardinho Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Breno Ceresso made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Edmundo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazareno EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Felipe Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Tiaguinho Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nazareno EC. Felipe Azevedo scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Felipe Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Nazareno EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Azevedo couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Malagutti Soccêr's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Azevedo came free, but Tiaguinho Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Malagutti Soccêr got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Azevedo in the 86th minute of play forced Malagutti Soccêr's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Vânderson Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nazareno EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tiaguinho Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Malagutti Soccêr defense, Felipe Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Sena. The Malagutti Soccêr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Sena should have stopped the shot. Nazareno EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
