Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dorian Britto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Felipe Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazareno EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Azevedo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilian Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute Felipe Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Furlan came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nazareno EC's Felipe Azevedo. But to his dismay, Felipe Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Breno Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Zonta in the 13th minute of the match. Cachoeiras's Wilian Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Azevedo in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Cachoeiras got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Alves. 18 minutes into the match, Cachoeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Azevedo came free, but Wilian Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Furlan having to interfere. Felipe Azevedo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilian Furlan. Wilian Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Edmundo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Azevedo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Vinícius Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Breno Ceresso made a huge save. Wilian Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Belmiro Pena came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nazareno EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Pena couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Felipe Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Furlan having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Osvaldo Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazareno EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorian Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Cachoeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Britto. Wilian Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Nazareno EC's Felipe Azevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When Felipe Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nazareno EC's protests and gave Felipe Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Felipe Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Cachoeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Berger to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Bebeto Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazareno EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachoeiras the free kick. After 78 played minutes Nazareno EC got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Valladares. Délio Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Breno Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Felipe Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Felipe Azevedo arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Cachoeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Britto. Nazareno EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
