An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Zonta in the 4th minute of play forced São Cristóvão F.C's goalkeeper Kiko Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kiko Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cachoeiras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dé Freitas 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 26 played minutes São Cristóvão F.C got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Baptista. If Délio Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Baptista in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilian Furlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 31st minute, São Cristóvão F.C's Dé Freitas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilian Furlan. Wilian Furlan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 38th minute, Dé Freitas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilian Furlan. The goal made the score 4-0. Wilian Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Urbano in the 44th minute of play. A hard shot 46 in the game by Felippe Baptista from a close distance when the talented Wilian Furlan managed to make a qualified save. Cachoeiras's players were relieved. In the 48th minute of the match Zé Roberto Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilian Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorian Britto to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Dé Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Wilian Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. São Cristóvão F.C's Dé Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for São Cristóvão F.C! Kiko Matorin had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Jeferson Sergipano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Jeferson Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Matorin. São Cristóvão F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Jairo Urbano with Délio Zonta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 73rd minute, one of São Cristóvão F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for São Cristóvão F.C. São Cristóvão F.C:s Kiko Matorin showed great skill when he stopped Jeferson Sergipano:s penalty. In the 80th minute, Claudinei Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Cristóvão F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Samuel Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Furlan having to interfere. Vinícius Berger's late challenge caught a São Cristóvão F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius Berger helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, São Cristóvão F.C's Kiko Matorin got control of the ball when Vinícius Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Claudinei Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Cristóvão F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felippe Baptista's late challenge caught a Cachoeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felippe Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After 100 played minutes São Cristóvão F.C got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Baptista. São Cristóvão F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cachoeiras for a fine match.
