Túlio Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Túlio Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Túlio Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Matías Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Eger went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Gruna's goalkeeper Beto Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Braga. Fabiano Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matías Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 86th match minute, Gruna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Rabelo to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Severo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Cristian Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Loureiro having to interfere. Matías Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Cristian Félix sent off a good shot on target. Gruna played a much better game than Maxguaruja and deserved their victory. The Maxguaruja players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
