After a rather tough play, Moraujo's Amauri Britto got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, one of Monobloco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monobloco FC. The referee gave Moraujo a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alan Moura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro. 0-2. Wilian Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Lara in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Wilian Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renatinho Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Armando Pinheiro made a huge save. If Gino Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Marcos Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Pinheiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Aníbal Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Armando Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Moraujo got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Britto. The Monobloco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Moraujo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
