Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Moraujo's Wilian Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Arlindo Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murilo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Linhares having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Aírton Nóbrega took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vicente Linhares to make any attempt to save it. João Augusto Corrêa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Elder Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elder Ramalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Linhares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Aírton Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Linhares having to make a save. When Brasilino's Aírton Nóbrega in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moraujo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Aírton Nóbrega put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Linhares. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Moraujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton Nóbrega didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 30th minute. Brasilino's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The audience was convinced that Aírton Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Linhares was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Vicente Linhares came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasilino's Frank Senna. But to his dismay, Frank Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, Moraujo's Vicente Linhares got control of the ball when Aírton Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aírton Nóbrega made a kick off. Vicente Linhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Eduardo Maranhense went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute Aírton Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Aírton Nóbrega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moraujo's Vicente Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aírton Nóbrega in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Senna struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Vicente Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasilino. Carlos Eduardo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Eduardo Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moraujo's Vicente Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Nóbrega in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Aírton Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasilino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Vicente Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brasilino had played much better football throughout.
