Adilson Porto scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Renatinho Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moraujo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatinho Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Moraujo's Wilian Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remo Messias. Remo Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vicente Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Porto in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Domingues got free with Remo Messias in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dito Netto hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cido Velloso, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Adilson Porto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Moraujo's Vicente Linhares. Vicente Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adilson Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. João Augusto Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Pedro Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moraujo's Vicente Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Leme in the 42nd minute of play. Adilson Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Linhares having to interfere. Vicente Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adilson Porto to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tony da Fonseca notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Moraujo's Vicente Linhares. Vicente Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Moraujo's zone, Pedro Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Linhares came out of the goal and Pedro Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adilson Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Tony da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Alan Moura sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Freixeira FC's Remo Messias didn't even have to move. 65 minutes into the game, Tony da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freixeira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moraujo the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Freixeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Renatinho Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Remo Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adilson Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vicente Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freixeira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Adilson Porto struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vicente Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freixeira FC. When the final whistle sounded Freixeira FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Moraujo.
