Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cristóvão Saraiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. José Augusto de Toledo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Moraujo. Alan Moura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armandinho Maciel. 0-1. Armandinho Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Lara in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Mazela AD got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Penha. Armandinho Maciel came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Moraujo's Renatinho Domingues. But to his dismay, Renatinho Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Wilian Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Maciel having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Mazela AD's Glauco Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Linhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glauco Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Linhares having to interfere. When Elói Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Mazela AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Velloso couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Elói Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazela AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moraujo's Wilian Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Sampaio's late challenge caught a Moraujo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Osvaldo Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mazela AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moraujo were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Wilian Lara made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, João Augusto Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói Velloso took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Linhares. Vicente Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Robinho Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vicente Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mazela AD's Elói Velloso got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moraujo's zone, Robinho Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Linhares came out of the goal and Robinho Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 played minutes Mazela AD got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Saraiva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Domingues got free with Armandinho Maciel in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robinho Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vicente Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elói Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
