Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Castro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Monobloco FC's Maicon Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Olavo Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olavo Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olavo Botelho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Alfredinho da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Pinheiro. Monobloco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredinho da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 41st minute Cássio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Jumentos SC's Alfredinho da Fonseca made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 played minutes Monobloco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gino Fernandes. When Cássio Castro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jumentos SC's protests and gave Cássio Castro a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Maicon Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jumentos SC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Mangueira hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Maicon Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 79 minutes into the game, Monobloco FC's Marcos Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Armando Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredinho da Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 83 minute of play. Amauri Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amauri Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head.
