Armando Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monobloco FC's João Carlos Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maicon Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Cristóvão Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Monobloco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Novaes came free, but Armando Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Cristóvão Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Maciel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Maicon Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monobloco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Aníbal Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monobloco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazela AD the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Monobloco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Armando Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Saraiva in the 39th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Monobloco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Fernandes in the 56th minute of play forced Mazela AD's goalkeeper Armandinho Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Gino Fernandes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mazela AD's Armandinho Maciel. Armandinho Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robinho Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Armando Pinheiro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Elói Velloso could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Armando Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Novaes in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Monobloco FC's goalkeeper Armando Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Penha. Monobloco FC's Armando Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Monobloco FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Elói Velloso could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Armando Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Maicon Siqueira scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armandinho Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Monobloco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mazela AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
