Acácio Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bernardinho Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canhoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Maxguaruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Borges to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Matías Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canhoba. Maxguaruja's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Acácio Paraense in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Christiano Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canhoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxguaruja the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Canhoba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maxguaruja:s goal. Ismael Braga might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Guilherme Cearense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Braga ran back to his position shaking his head. Canhoba's Luiz Guilherme Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Severo in the 16th minute of play. If Ismael Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorginho Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Guilherme Cearense. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Ismael Braga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Ismael Braga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Guilherme Cearense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 34th minute, Gilberto Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36th play minutes Ismael Braga shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Luiz Guilherme Cearense and just under the crossbar into goal. 39 minutes into the match, Canhoba's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Braga. Ismael Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Severo scored 5-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Guilherme Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Guilherme Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Severo in the 49th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Dedê Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Guilherme Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Braga in the 53rd minute of play. Canhoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 66th match minute, Canhoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Acácio Paraense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Guilherme Cearense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz Guilherme Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Braga went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ismael Braga put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Guilherme Cearense. Luiz Guilherme Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Severo in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ismael Braga put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Guilherme Cearense. In the 84th minute, Gilberto Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Guilherme Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Diamantino Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Canhoba getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Diamantino Quirino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ismael Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxguaruja's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Guilherme Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canhoba's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matías Loureiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardinho Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 12-1 in the 96 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Canhoba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maxguaruja.
