Wiliam Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Fred Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Wiliam Hoffmann made a huge save. Magno Carvalho's late challenge caught a José Bonifácio EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Soneca AC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Carvalho. 26 minutes into the game, Roy Säv cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wiliam Hoffmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiliam Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enis Rıza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Dito do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soneca AC and the José Bonifácio EC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
