An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Favoretto in the 6th minute of play forced CEI Rocha's goalkeeper Vinícius Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Itabapoana SP's Jerônimo Favoretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinícius Tróia. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After 21 played minutes CEI Rocha got a freekick which was hit by Doni Prestes. Itabapoana SP's Josué Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Furtado in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Davi Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itabapoana SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Davi Palmeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Vinícius Tróia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Romero made a kick off. In the 92nd minute, Erivaldo Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itabapoana SP were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
