Lekubegi Vozmediano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Meireles in the 4th minute of play. Ramiro de Azevedo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Edgard Olivar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Loucolatra Patrocinense got a freekick which was hit by Luís Mello. Lekubegi Vozmediano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wágner Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Loucolatra Patrocinense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Amorim couldn't finish the play. Júlio Soutos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Valdo Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Dragões Azuis FC defense, Júlio Souto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo Perez. The Dragões Azuis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo Perez should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Baptista during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Loucolatra Patrocinense got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Baptista. After 36 played minutes Dragões Azuis FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Castro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Freire got free with Valdo Perez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdo Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dragões Azuis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Baptista came free, but Valdo Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões Azuis FC's zone, Perivaldo Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Perez came out of the goal and Perivaldo Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Souto in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Perez saved Dragões Azuis FC from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Wágner Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 71 minutes into the game, Wágner Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Valdo Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. William Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Lekubegi Vozmediano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Amorim in the 86th minute of play forced Dragões Azuis FC's goalkeeper Valdo Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Souto in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdo Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot by Cleiton Guerra from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Lekubegi Vozmediano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Loucolatra Patrocinense had played much better football throughout.
