Albertinho de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. David Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho de Senna in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Hermes saved GAVIÕES F.C from getting behind. Jânio Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Egídio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho de Senna scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho de Senna in the 31st minute of play forced GAVIÕES F.C's goalkeeper David Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Peixoto took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Hermes. After some careless play in the GAVIÕES F.C defense, Albertinho de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Hermes. The GAVIÕES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Hermes should have stopped the shot. If Albertinho de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Moreira in the 46th minute of the match.

David Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho de Senna in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Fantasy FT's Luiz Guilherme Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Hermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. He walked away shaking his head. Albertinho de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fantasy FT fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Fantasy FT's Albertinho de Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Fantasy FT's zone, Orlando de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Marques came out of the goal and Orlando de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertinho de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but David Hermes made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Jânio Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAVIÕES F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fantasy FT the free kick. The supporters of Fantasy FT booed when GAVIÕES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Fantasy FT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GAVIÕES F.C throughout the match.
