The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiaguinho Dias made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Coqueiros FC's goalkeeper Arkadiy Trofimov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Mineiro in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elivélton Pinheiro during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Elivélton Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateus Lara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arkadiy Trofimov. That made the score 3-1 in the 72 minute of play. Bruno Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Dias in the 75th minute of the match. If Tiaguinho Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Coqueiros FC booed when Rio Tavares Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Coqueiros FC's Gilson Guedes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fellipe Botelho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Arkadiy Trofimov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Tavares Esporte Clube. Fellipe Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
