Jaime Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Quintal came free, but Jaime Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Trigo in the 19th minute of play forced Cristal's goalkeeper Jaime Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Quintal took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Tinoco. Jaime Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaime Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Lira in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Quintal in the 26th minute of play forced Cristal's goalkeeper Jaime Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Tinoco came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Pureza FC's Guga Marquez. But to his dismay, Guga Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pureza FC's Didi das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Pitta in the 37th minute of play. Jaime Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 47 played minutes Pureza FC got a freekick which was hit by Remo Lira. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

José Pedro Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Haroldo Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Erivaldo Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Quintal in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jaime Tinoco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 62 minutes into the match, Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Trigo came free, but Jaime Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Luizão Arce made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pureza FC's Didi das Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute of the match, Nilton Trigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaime Tinoco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the match, Cristal's goalkeeper Jaime Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Vítor Quintal. Cristal's Jaime Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cristal from getting a goal against them. Cristal's Jaime Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Trigo in the 74th minute of play. Guga Marquez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jaime Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pureza FC. After 78 minutes of play Pureza FC's Remo Lira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Remo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Arce in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi das Neves saved Pureza FC from getting behind. If Nilton Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Giovanni Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi das Neves having to make a save. In the 90thth minute of the game Luizão Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pureza FC's Didi das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Marquez in the 93rd minute.
