Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Cabral in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes of play, Badajos's Ronaldão Cabral made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vitinho Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Vitinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Gildo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Madureira came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by MILLENNYUM RACING's Vânderson Galvão. But to his dismay, Vânderson Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 28 minutes into the game, MILLENNYUM RACING's Vânderson Galvão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvaldo Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Laerte Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Flavinho da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Amorim was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Laerte Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Cabral in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Cabral in the 40th minute of play forced MILLENNYUM RACING's goalkeeper Laerte Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Ronaldão Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILLENNYUM RACING's Laerte Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MILLENNYUM RACING's zone, Geovani Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laerte Amorim came out of the goal and Geovani Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldão Cabral made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Cabral in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laerte Amorim saved MILLENNYUM RACING from getting behind. Ronaldão Cabral struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Laerte Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Badajos. Paulão Leite scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Badajos's Vitinho Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão Cabral got free with Laerte Amorim in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Badajos's Alessandro Duarte got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lauro Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo Madureira. Badajos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Badajos booed when MILLENNYUM RACING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Cabral in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laerte Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute, Vânderson Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MILLENNYUM RACING fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. A hard shot by Alessandro Duarte from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Laerte Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Geovani Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6-1 came in the 86th minute when Eduardo Nogueira all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Edvaldo Madureira. When Ronaldão Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Badajos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Cabral couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Geovani Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Laerte Amorim. MILLENNYUM RACING's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Laerte Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Vânderson Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLENNYUM RACING's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MILLENNYUM RACING had won after a very even match.
