Coqueiros FC's Deivid Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Coqueiros FC's Tiaguinho Dias in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.Palmeiras's goalie prevented a goal. When Deivid Prado fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coqueiros FC's goalkeeper Arkadiy Trofimov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Paulo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Coqueiros FC's Arkadiy Trofimov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Alvarenga in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match S.E.Palmeiras got a corner. Coqueiros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Caccia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Enzo Caccia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Coqueiros FC's Arkadiy Trofimov did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Dias in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ettore Pennetta saved S.E.Palmeiras from getting behind. When Tiaguinho Dias came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Coqueiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Dias couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ulysses Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Elivélton Pinheiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.E.Palmeiras's Ettore Pennetta didn't even have to move. After 57 played minutes Coqueiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Fernandes. Arkadiy Trofimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Alvarenga in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of S.E.Palmeiras booed when Coqueiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiy Trofimov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiaguinho Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Ettore Pennetta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elivélton Pinheiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ettore Pennetta. S.E.Palmeiras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Coqueiros FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
