Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luizão Arce made the kick off and thus started the match. Eriberto Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tinoco having to interfere. Jaime Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Giovanni Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Pitta couldn't finish the play. Ettore Pennetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Luizão Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ettore Pennetta made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cristal's José Pedro Botelho got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristal's José Pedro Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, S.E.Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Pitta came free, but Ettore Pennetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Pennetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ettore Pennetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Pitta in the 31st minute of play forced S.E.Palmeiras's goalkeeper Ettore Pennetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Luizão Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cristal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ettore Pennetta was a little too slow when Luizão Arce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Cristal's Giovanni Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ettore Pennetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Pitta in the 52nd minute of the match. Giovanni Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ettore Pennetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.E.Palmeiras's Enzo Caccia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jaime Tinoco made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Eriberto Abreu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.Palmeiras's zone, Giovanni Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Pennetta came out of the goal and Giovanni Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, S.E.Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Catarinense came free, but Ettore Pennetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Cristal got a corner. S.E.Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafim Tasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Arce in the 77th minute of play forced S.E.Palmeiras's goalkeeper Ettore Pennetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Arce took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Pennetta. Ettore Pennetta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Luizão Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ettore Pennetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristal's Luizão Arce in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.Palmeiras's goalie prevented a goal. If Luizão Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ettore Pennetta having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, Cristal's Giovanni Pitta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ettore Pennetta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ettore Pennetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Pitta in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cristal had played much better football throughout.
