A hard shot by Cristian Fernandes from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Laerte Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Laerte Amorim made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edgard de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Laerte Amorim came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Coqueiros FC's Edgard de Toledo. But to his dismay, Edgard de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Edgard de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Laerte Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When MILLENNYUM RACING's Gildo Teixeira in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coqueiros FC's goalie prevented a goal. MILLENNYUM RACING's Eduardo Nogueira suffered a concussion in the 25th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Deivid Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Coqueiros FC's Deivid Prado got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jânio Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coqueiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulão Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulão Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Coqueiros FC booed when MILLENNYUM RACING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coqueiros FC's Edgard de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jacinto Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coqueiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Edgard de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coqueiros FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after MILLENNYUM RACING's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgard de Toledo took the corner. If Paulão Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard de Toledo to make the kick off. Edgard de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Laerte Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coqueiros FC. Vânderson Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Coqueiros FC's Arkadiy Trofimov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Coqueiros FC from getting a goal against them. Edgard de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Laerte Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coqueiros FC. When Coqueiros FC's Jânio Furtado in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MILLENNYUM RACING's goalie prevented a goal. Paulão Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Jânio Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Coqueiros FC's Jacinto Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Laerte Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard de Toledo in the 75th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Edgard de Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Edgard de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Laerte Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Coqueiros FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
