After 17 minutes, Vânderson Galvão made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sirigado's Wellington Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gildo Teixeira to make the kick off. Wellington Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Teixeira in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, MILLENNYUM RACING's Laércio Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wellington Severo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Joaquim Quintal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Sirigado's Pedro Senna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Pedro Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirigado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Sirigado's Christian Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laerte Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the game, Wilton Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirigado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MILLENNYUM RACING the free kick. Wilton Guerra hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sirigado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MILLENNYUM RACING.
