The audience was convinced that Tancredo Zamudio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Madureira was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Bruno Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Cabral in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Flavinho da Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Paraense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruno Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Hoffmann in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Badajos booed when Rio Tavares Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Cabral in the 16th minute of play forced Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bruno Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Badajos's Edvaldo Madureira got control of the ball when Romualdo Azaola tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Rio Tavares Esporte Clube defense, Ronaldão Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Paraense. The Rio Tavares Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Paraense should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Cabral came free, but Bruno Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Lara in the 24th minute of play. Bruno Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Flavinho da Silva put in a rough tackle. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Mateus Lara took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Edvaldo Madureira to make any attempt to save it. 43 minutes into the match, Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Hoffmann came free, but Bruno Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Badajos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani Tinoco made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Vitinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Tancredo Zamudio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvaldo Madureira. Badajos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tancredo Zamudio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When Vitinho Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Badajos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Travassos couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Machado in the 62nd minute of the match. Edvaldo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tancredo Zamudio in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Botelho in the 65th minute of play forced Badajos's goalkeeper Edvaldo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Travassos in the 68th minute of play forced Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bruno Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's Bruno Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Tavares Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the game, Horácio Medeiros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Paraense. Horácio Medeiros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 75th minute, Mateus Lara made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Madureira. Badajos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. A collision led to Rio Tavares Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edmílson Machado hit a great ball. Horácio Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Paraense came out and tried to block the shot, but Horácio Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 85th minute. Edvaldo Madureira came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's Tancredo Zamudio. But to his dismay, Tancredo Zamudio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. Edvaldo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Botelho in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Badajos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rio Tavares Esporte Clube.
