Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tancredo Zamudio started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, S.E.Palmeiras's goalkeeper Ettore Pennetta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Botelho. Ettore Pennetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tancredo Zamudio in the 6th minute of the match. Tancredo Zamudio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Pennetta came out and tried to block the shot, but Tancredo Zamudio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 12th match minute, Rio Tavares Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Azaola to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, S.E.Palmeiras's Eriberto Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 21st minute, Victor Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 24 minutes into the game, Tancredo Zamudio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Pennetta. Tancredo Zamudio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. A collision led to S.E.Palmeiras getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Victor Silveira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Zamudio in the 31st minute of play forced S.E.Palmeiras's goalkeeper Ettore Pennetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's Bruno Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Silveira in the 33rd minute of play. Tancredo Zamudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ettore Pennetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tancredo Zamudio in the 52nd minute of play. Ettore Pennetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tancredo Zamudio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E.Palmeiras's Ettore Pennetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tancredo Zamudio in the 65th minute of play. Ettore Pennetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tancredo Zamudio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ettore Pennetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe Botelho went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Enéas Vides hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Armandinho Alvarenga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Paraense came out and tried to block the shot, but Armandinho Alvarenga slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 86th minute. Tancredo Zamudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Enzo Caccia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Alvarenga hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Mateus Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Enéas Vides sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ettore Pennetta skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
