Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulão Lara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wanderson Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roger de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betania's Baltazar Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Paraíba in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulão Lara in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Wanderson Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Freitas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Betania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Franklin Corrêa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltazar Nóbrega skillfully saved the ball. Mário Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The long shot by João Vítor Vides in the 28th minute really tested Roger de Castro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Roberto Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Roger de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Betania. In the 33rd minute, Roberto Saraiva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wanderson Freire struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Roger de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Betania. When Roberto Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Betania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Saraiva couldn't finish the play. Betania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Vítor Vides in the 45th minute. Wanderson Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger de Castro having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wanderson Freire made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Freire in the 51st minute of play forced Paragua SS's goalkeeper Roger de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Freire in the 52nd minute of the match. Roberto Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Eduardo Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Roberto Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Baltazar Nóbrega made a huge save. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Paragua SS's Paulão Lara in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Baltazar Nóbrega was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Betania through an amazing save. Roberto Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger de Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Peres in the 82nd minute of play forced Paragua SS's goalkeeper Roger de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
