The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Meirelles during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Dynamo 88's Eliseu Meirelles got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Fellipe Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dynamo 88's protests and gave Fellipe Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, FC Dynamo 88 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Dantas to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, FC Dynamo 88's Rony Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Araújo couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Caio Prado's goalkeeper Erasmo Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Dantas. FC Dynamo 88's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
