After 64 minutes of play, Manguaba's Luizinho Paulista made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aírton Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luverdense Esporte Clube's Horácio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Paranaense in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Luizinho Paulista notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Luverdense Esporte Clube's Horácio de Medeiros. Horácio de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei Abraão. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. Sandrinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio de Medeiros having to interfere. Eduardo Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Manguaba failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
