Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernani Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. Ciro Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Manuel Goiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erasmo Azevedo, 1-1. If Manuel Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Flavinho Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caio Prado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Boys the free kick. In the 17th minute, Flavinho Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Golden Boys booed when Caio Prado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Boys's Ernani Ribeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo Azevedo. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. Wilton Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Azevedo having to interfere. Flavinho Teixeira hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Erasmo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson de Brito in the 27th minute of the match. Vito Fontes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Ricardo Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caio Prado's protests and gave Ricardo Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ernani Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Vítor Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ciro Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael de Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Mandrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Gerson de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Caio Prado's Erasmo Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Caio Prado from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fernandinho Tróia hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Donatello got free with Ciro Mandrak in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ciro Mandrak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Renan Donatello took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Mandrak. Ciro Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Wilton Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Caio Prado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Fontes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caio Prado's zone, Manuel Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Azevedo came out of the goal and Manuel Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Golden Boys's Wilton Rosado got a free kick in the 78th minute. Wilton Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilton Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernani Ribeiro scored 4-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Ribeiro in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Azevedo saved Caio Prado from getting behind. Many of Caio Prado's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Caio Prado may have spent more time on the ball, but Golden Boys were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
