An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Sanches in the 18th minute of play forced Manguaba's goalkeeper Claudinei Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manguaba's Claudinei Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Meirelles in the 20th minute of play. Claudinei Abraão came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dynamo 88's Rony Passos. But to his dismay, Rony Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th match minute, Manguaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Paulista to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rony Passos took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Claudinei Abraão to make any attempt to save it. Manguaba's Claudinei Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Manguaba from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Passos in the 56th minute of play forced Manguaba's goalkeeper Claudinei Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Rony Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, FC Dynamo 88's Francisco Sanches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Abraão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Sandrinho Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Acácio Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Rony Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Fellipe Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Manguaba booed when FC Dynamo 88 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manguaba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
