Matías Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Acácio Medeiros made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, FC Dynamo 88's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Abraão came free, but Acácio Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Sanches in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Karpinski EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan de Castro to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Carlos Alberto Pimenta sped through FC Dynamo 88's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Acácio Medeiros. In the 17th match minute, Karpinski EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Fellipe Dantas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto. Ernani Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Matías Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Medeiros. FC Dynamo 88's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Francisco Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernani Netto was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 44th minute of the match, Matías Abraão got a very nice opportunity to score, but Acácio Medeiros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fellipe Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dynamo 88's zone, Carlos Alberto Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Medeiros came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Sanches made a kick off. Ernani Netto was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rony Passos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rony Passos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Karpinski EC's Matías Abraão in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dynamo 88's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Frederico Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karpinski EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dynamo 88 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Karpinski EC's Frederico Vinhas got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Elói Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dynamo 88's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rony Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ernani Netto made a huge save. After 66 minutes of play, FC Dynamo 88's Rony Passos made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Nelsinho Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rony Passoss short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ernani Netto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Matías Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Medeiros. FC Dynamo 88's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Remo Sá made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Karpinski EC's Júlio Ramalho. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Matías Abraão put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Acácio Medeiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 90th minute of play forced FC Dynamo 88's goalkeeper Acácio Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Vinhas lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 92nd minute, one of Karpinski EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karpinski EC. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, FC Dynamo 88's Elói Ribeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernani Netto. Acácio Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Abraão in the 98th minute of the match. The Karpinski EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Dynamo 88's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Dynamo 88.
