Erasmo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, one of Caio Prado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erasmo Azevedo had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Duarte Arósio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Paragua SS's Roger de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Donatello in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caio Prado fully deserved thier win.
