Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernani Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. Ernani Netto made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Manuel Goiano sent off a good shot on target. After 5 played minutes Karpinski EC got a freekick which was hit by Alan de Castro. With 7 minutes on the clock, Gerson de Brito commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golden Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Ciro Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 22nd minute of play forced Golden Boys's goalkeeper Ciro Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Alberto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Karpinski EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Ribeiro came free, but Ernani Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Abraão in the 31st minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Pimenta scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías Abraão took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Mandrak. Ciro Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 40th minute, Carlos Alberto Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Mandrak. Golden Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Boys's zone, Carlos Alberto Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Mandrak came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play. Alan de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Alan de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Mandrak made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Matías Abraão sent off a good shot on target. In the 54thth minute of the game Wilton Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alan de Castro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Manuel Goiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto didn't even have to move. Ernani Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Ribeiro in the 58th minute of the match. Ernani Ribeiro scored 1-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernani Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciro Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Golden Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Pimenta came free, but Ciro Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karpinski EC booed when Golden Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karpinski EC's Ernani Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Ribeiro in the 79th minute of play. Ernani Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Karpinski EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Ernani Ribeiro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ciro Mandrak made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Nelsinho Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Mandrak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Abraão in the 84th minute. Wilton Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 87th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Pimenta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Mandrak came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Alberto Pimenta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 89th minute. Ernani Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Ribeiro in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Golden Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Goiano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Boys's zone, Francisco Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Mandrak came out of the goal and Francisco Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Karpinski EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
