The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizinho Paulista was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Abraão having to make a save. Claudinei Abraão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Augusto de Andrade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play.
