Rafinha Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Netto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matías Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roger de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Roger de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Paragua SS's Franklin Corrêa got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paragua SS's Roger de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 42nd minute of the match.
