Jaime dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ciro Mandrak was a little too slow when Jano Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ciro Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Golden Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Manuel Goiano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Ernani Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Pontes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luís Toscano in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Mandrak saved Golden Boys from getting behind. Golden Boys's Ciro Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Soares in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Clube de Regatas do Flame players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
