Spectators: 7358 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fiori Matos got the match started through his kick off. Ernani Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Xavier in the 6th minute. Bernardo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Abraão in the 11th minute of play. Bernardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Netto was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Vicente Rossi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Rossi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, FERRÃO's Juninho Souto got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ernani Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matías Abraão during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FERRÃO booed when Karpinski EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Vicente Rossi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernani Netto, 2-0. Matías Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ramalho having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, FERRÃO's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Abraão came free, but Bernardo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Matías Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Karpinski EC's goalkeeper Ernani Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Xavier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Pimenta in the 48th minute of play forced FERRÃO's goalkeeper Bernardo Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Carlos Alberto Pimenta made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano Oliveira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FERRÃO's goalkeeper Bernardo Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Ramalho was a little too slow when Carlos Alberto Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-1. Carlos Alberto Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karpinski EC's Júlio Ramalho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabiano de Souza, made in the 65th minute of the game. Ernani Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Matos went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Karpinski EC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Júlio Ramalho hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, FERRÃO's Germano Corrêa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernani Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FERRÃO reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Abraão got free with Bernardo Ramalho in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, FERRÃO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Pimenta came free, but Bernardo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bernardo Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Carlos Alberto Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpinski EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, FERRÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Neiva to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Carlos Alberto Pimenta took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Bernardo Ramalho to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Fiori Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FERRÃO's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the FERRÃO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
